The exhibition concept aims to visualize systemically relevant professions as important pillars of togetherness and social cohesion. This refers in particular to those professions that make our everyday lives possible in the first place. The exhibition presents examples of professions that deserve special appreciation. With this exhibition, the insitut für zukünfte e.V. association wants to set an example and at the same time make a contribution to improving the future of people in these professions.
In the „We care“ exhibition, we focused on the people whose work and voluntary work make our social life possible in the first place. And we posed the question of how much these professions are worth to us. At the exhibition opening, festival participants were the first to gain an insight into our interactive exhibition on the appreciation of socially relevant professions and worked with us to develop solutions for a future in which these professions are seen for what they are: The backbone of our society. The exhibition was open to the public free of charge at the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg from 30.06.-13.08.2023. As part of the exhibition opening, the Tanzende Theater Wolfsburg also staged the manifesto that formed the basis of the exhibition.
